Curveball

Sometimes you're just trucking along, getting back into the swing of work after an overseas holiday, preparing for a weekend in 14C Italy, quickly sewing up a new re-enactment dress (nice yellow now I'm not a filthy peasant!)......and you get a late night phonecall with a plea for help...

and life serves you a curveball.....

Say hello to the curveball......

Little man has no name - MB and I are disagreeing; I suggested William, he suggested Amos...........so at the moment he's just a kittycat.

He's about a year or younger, still got his baby teeth - and all his equipment (if ya'all know what I mean.....). And he is very sweet. When he's [ahem] done, he's going to be a lovely pet. He's a stray and very skinny. Off to the V.E.T with him as soon as possible!

But - well, he is a very pretty cat - and kisses nice......

And in case you're wondering - Charlie is rather bemused but not horrified.

What a handsome fellow!! You are a sweetie taking him in!

I visited the 1500's this Mother's Day! Well, 1533 to be exact. Went to Scarborough Renaissance Festival and had a blast! Posted some pics and will be for a while since I took over 400!!

Hope you are doing well my friend over the pond! ;)

He's beautiful! Reminds me of my old cat I had in my teens.

I'm sorry Hon, but I quite like Amos! However, I like Bill :)

he's lovely!!

I like William and he does have a certain William-ness about him

then again - Curveball is a cool name and meaningful and calling him CB gives him the same dignity as William does.

You're wonderful to take him in in the middle of the night. Bravo to you!!

Awwww hon, he is ADORABLE!

I do like William, Amos not so much. How about just calling him Albert??

I'm glad that Charlie doesn't seem to mind him so much. That's always a good sign. I hear you about the whole "fixing' thing. We have to get Adina sorted soon too.

My sister (a cat show judge) always told me that yellow cats are predisposed to being sweet, friendly and affectionate. So far, I've found this to be true. Looks like you've got a sweetie on your hands.
How about you combine both names and call him Willie Amos? LOL
