Final Push

Caerphilly, the last hurrah. The last shooting of the siege engines of the year. The rain still fell and the world was cold and harsh, but this closing event is a heart-warmer and we all celebrate the official end of our contracted season.

One more event on the books, a local fayre, and then we pack away our kit for winter.

You must be SO glad to be back doing these weekends again CQ.

Enjoy the Fayre, and have a good time. The last hurrah is always the best, but its also bittersweet.

Hugs to you from Western Canada.

Off topic I know, but I saw this squirrel armour and wondered whether you'd already seen it in use.
