[cough]

This weekend I was supposed to be at Caerphilly Castle to do some some more 'wenching'.....(see below post)

I didn't feel brill yesterday morning, but I went to work as usual. Then home, did some laundry, packed ready for the weekend, and even trimmed my nails (peasants didn't have long fingernails in the 14C!).......then I relaxed - and started to feel poorly. As the afternoon went on I felt sicker and sicker, then a short trip to the supermarket made up my mind - I was dead on my feet half way around the store!

So no Caerphilly for me.I am at home, taking neurofen, aching, coughing, sneezing and wheezing......

Oh, I'm so sorry you had to miss the fun. At least feel better that you have better treatments than if it were the 14th century...ugh! Here from Michele's wishing you a speedy recovery.

Oh dear!! I hope you are feeling better soon. Get some rest... My favorite thing to do when I'm sick is 1. to become prostrate on the couch 2. flip channels until I find something I like
3. sleep through the show
4. repeat steps 2 - 3 as often as I like.

Hugs!!

Sorry that you've missed all your wenching. It's not the sort of thing you can do in your condition.

I hate when friends are under the weather. I'm sending good wishes waaaaay across the ocean to you. May you recover in time for the next 'wenching (do I love that word!)

I hope you're getting lots of nap time in.

So does Michele. She sent me to make sure you're not overdoing it.

I am so sorry you are not feeling well. We have had some bad flu bugs over here in the U.S. lately. Seems lots of people are feeling down. However, it is a real shame because you had such a great week-end planned.

I love re-enactments. Wish there were photos, but I understand your dilemna.

Here once again, by way of Michele
