Yep, definitely sick.
I've been up all night with a blocked nose, prickly skin and aching joints. Every time I turned over I woke up. I managed to stay in bed til 7am, but that was a challenge. I guess it was better than trying to sleep in a 14C tent.......
My sneezes are incredible, and my sinuses are leaking out of my eyes. I'm sending MB out this morning for Oasis (fruit squash with real sugar), oranges, tissues with balm, paracetamol plus and, of course, chocolate........(It's summer, I don't have cold rememdies in the house!)
I really, really hate being sick. I especially hate being sick with colds and flus. They are just so debilitating for what is essentially a minor virus.
Right, Caption Time (regular readers will know I have stolen this idea from the delicious Carmi in Canada):
This is me this time last year, my first ever foray into re-enactment - which included adjusting the huge dress I was loaned. Captions, please.......

"Feck it. I'm ready to go home. I'm sick of sleeping in this darn sleeping bag. And I so feel like a beer..." *heehee*
I'm here via Michele today CQ. I seriously hope you begin to feel better. Nothing worse than feeling under the weather when the weather is brilliant...
Hi Craziequeen! Thanks for the kudos!!
"Maybe they won't notice me if I just pick at this..."
well in case I haven't mentioned my cure before, here it is -- works on everything.
can of chicken noodle soup -- I'm wondering now if you all even have that! and add a spoon of vietnamese chili sauce.
it really does work on anything sinus especially!
yikes, the sniffles sounds yukky. I also completely agree on the chicken soup remedies. If you feel really poorly then cream of chicken soup also seems to work.
And caption-wise:
"I shouldn't have sneezed on the skirt."
Here today via Michele's.

"Maybe I won't have to wear it if I don't finish it."
Feel better, CQ!
Don't forget the Vitamin C!
Michele wants that you get well soon!
Substitute tofu for the chicken and get well soon!

My mom used to make me a vegetable soup that I swear was just as therapeutic as chicken soup. I would sit over the bowl and feel the steam rise, almost giving myself a facial.
Caption: One more stitch and I'll be finished reattaching my legs to the rest of me.
Sorry, my brain's in neutral today.
Still sending you good health vibes. You deserve a little peace and happiness.
'Dang it! I've sewn my undies to my skirt again!'.
Hope you are feeling much better Hon. Keep taking the tablets! :)
"Best way to have a quick nap in full view of everyone - notice the needle never moves?"
Time for me to extol the virtues of the neti pot. Running warm saline water in one nostril and out the other is the best way to unclog. For sinus pressure, a warm wet washcloth on the face until it cools works wonders. Michele and I say get healthy!
Hope you're feeling better soon...nothing drains you out more than a cold or the flu. Last time I had the flu, it was so bad that even my hair hurt.
My caption for your picture: "Darn Omar the Tentmaker and his too-long hems!"
Poor thing, nothing worse than a cold in the summer! Hope you feel better soon :-)
Hi, Michele sent me!
I recommend lots of garlic... [sneeze].
