Holiday Memories

I'm having a few holiday flashbacks........

Starting with toilet roll - a house of eleven people got through at least 16 rolls in a week.....were they eating it??
Bread - we managed to munch through about ten loaves of bread - and that was just ten of us, as one had her bread-free-bread.

We reckoned Cornwall was -

for the season......

And we went to see this......(Tintagel Castle)

But all we saw was this......

But we did get to see these.....

Handsome, eh? The Madagascan Fossa.....Newquay Zoo have two they are preparing to breed.

More later.

I too was quite taken with the fossa, which apparently (despite appearances) is neither a dog, nor a cat (probably why it moved around so much!), but actually nearer to a mongoose.

Madagasgar has no native canines or felines. So Fossa's eat the lemur's.

Do you think I get to go on QI now?

I did like the Fossa...

I WANT one!

I could just imagine it curled up on my lap... purring...

Do Fossa's purr I wonder? They looked as if they would... or should...

NOW I unnerstand in the movie Madagascar, when the lemurs were ascared of their emenies, the "fossa"! Fanks fur enlitenin me! :-)
Charlie an Pandora said yur kinda sad. Seems like some post-birthday, too introspective, November blues. When my mom feels like that, I give her extra snuggles an fur an purr therapy. I better get ready - her' purrthday's next week! Bonnie just growls an bites her, which also distracts her fur awhile.

AAmazing you actually went through 10 loaves of bread..and yet...Well, it was a week and that means that each of you ate a loaf of bread a piece!
The toilet paper I really understand...And I am ashamed to to tell you I go through probably 8 rolls my self in a week...Yes! A lot of Bathroom Visits at my house! (lol)
Loved that picture of the leafless tree and the mist...! BEAUTIFUL!

I never made it inside Tintagel Castle when I last went to Cornwall, and of course, living in Canada now makes it that little bit harder.

One day though .. I WILL make it!

Awesome photos hon. :)

Tintagel is a great location you have to admit. Shame about the mist, the 1st time I went a great mist swept in once I reached the furthermost point out to sea. Lovely spot and great views on a bright day.

I would be more worried if you did not use ANY loo roll!

I bet the fog made Tintagel very atmospheric -Arthurian (wow what a big word!)

We go to places when they are closed and actually like it.... less tourists

Tinrtagel is a wonderful place to visit. I hope that the next time you go it's a lot nicer as the views are fantastic.

Pity about the must; the zoo is always a good place to visit.
