Now THAT'S contentment if ever I saw it. This warmed my heart.
I often think the same thing about our rescued dog. I'm immensely saddened that he had to experience what he did through the first few months of his life. I wish I could erase that time from his memory - or, more realistically, wish that he'd never again have to remember what it must have been like.
But then I think about how he came to be with us. We wouldn't have had him otherwise. I feel more than a little selfish for feeling glad that he ended up in our home, where he's got more love than he can handle.
Bless these sweet little creatures. They truly are gifts to our respective families.
Tanya asked me to say hi. I'd have done so regardless.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh! That is the dearest picture! Sweet Sweet William....!
is William still tired from dodging party guests dancing feet last weekend?
He's beautiful :) I wish I could sleep like a cat sometmes!
...and he's about as dead asleep as a kitty can be. That's trust...
That is one contented cat!
