Thirteen Things Things I like about my new job 1. My new boss [waves at boss]. We've known each for a few years and I'm enjoying working for him. 2. My new colleagues - there are only eight of us in my immediate department! 3. My new environment - eight of us tucked away in a corner of the office :-) 4. I knew more than I thought I did! 5. After running the 3-man section single-handedly for three months, my boss is happy for me to help pick up the wayside jobs using my skills. 6. My boss is a bloke. No offence to the women out there, but in my 20yrs only two women bosses have ever been any good. 7. It's nice and central - ie near the shop! :-) 8. Because I am now in a much more central part of a 7,000 person site, I am making contact with old friends I haven't spoken to in years. 9. My boss tells me to go home at 3.30 [big grin] 10. I don't, of course....... 11. I can use my experience and it is welcomed. 12. I have already put some new processes in place. 13.
