Holiday Tuesday

Morning all,

Our Christmas Tree is completely demolished - Charlie was obviously busy last night. In fact, I have taken it down and put it in the downstairs closet until tomorrow, and until I can face rebuilding it again.

Cats have done nothing but argue and fight and Pandora took to her bed for two days (at one point I had to take her food in there too!) just getting up for her toilette then creeping back. I honestly thought she was going to the Bridge.

I have another nasty cold.

My Christmas dinner substitute went in the bin - it was awful! :-( Knew I couldn't cook....

My phone/computer link suddenly doesn't work and I can't upload some lovely pictures of the felines. Update - I think the feckin' modem is fecked.. :-(

I am *so* tired.

MB has toddled off to his golf competition today. He'll stay for lunch and then come home before heading off to his parent's for a few days. So, here starts *my* holiday.......

  1. Tell UM to *get lost* - failed
  2. Take Paracetamol for my cold - didn't bother
  3. Hoover and clean the house - check
  4. Clear through some laundry - check
  5. Nap - didn't bother
  6. Fix the tree - can't face it
  7. LMD-proof the house - it's as LMD-proof as it's gonna get

And tomorrow, my darling cyberkitten will be coming over to help me prepare for the Crazie Christmas!

Good morning, CrazyQueen. It's quite early here in the States but must be near lunchtime where you are. Michele sent me to see you!

My closely held belief is that cats are evil. That bible thing about snakes...? Nuh-uh. Some cat person did some editing. It was a big ole nasty Tom Cat in that tree!

Since you have several cats I doubt I'll convince you, CQ, but keep it in the back of your mind. LOL I hope you get over your cold soon and feel better!

Happy to help as always... Of course with me around Charlie will be hiding under a bed somewhere for the duration - so the tree is safe as longs as I'm there.

Your poor, poor tree. I honestly thought I'd be going thru the same thing this year, but our cats have strangely left it alone.

I hope your cold gets better. I caught the flu for Christmas, so I can soooo relate. Been sick since Thursday, and just now sort of starting to feel better.

Michele sent me!

OOL: I understand others laughing, don't worry. And if UM weren't here, I'd probably be laughing too. Got my own back though - he hates the sucky thing that eats the carpet :-)

utenzi: cats are indeed evil. They are also extremely clever and, in the UK at least, still classed as wild animals! :-) nice donkeys, btw :-)

cyberkitten: yeah - why *don't* your famed feline wiles work on my cats????

tammy: all I can say is 'lucky, lucky, lucky!!' :-S

CQ - sorry you are sick! Take care of yourself! My cat Rocky, hasn't even touched my tree, can you believe it? I don't know if she's just lost interest, or what. She'll sleep under it, but she leaves everything else alone...it's amazed me! (I don't mean to rub it in...really.) ;)

thanks yellowrose.....no really - thanks [big cheesy grin]

Hello from Michele's!

You know, there are times I grumble when I have to walk the she-hellions, but they aren't tree wreckers! *tee hee*

Oh dear! I'm sorry you're not feeling well, and hope that the Christmas tree will be able to survive the attack :)

It's not possible to LMD proof the house - she's a monster child now, able to stand, swing on things, smile sweetly at Mstr A till he gives it to her & yell at adults till they give in!

Just don't bother, we'll shout "No!" alot:-)

Or I could just look at her.......

Michele sent me back over the pond to you, CQ. Hope the preperations for your party are coming along, my dear....And, if the "Charlied" Christmas Tree is salvageable..I hope you've get the strength to resurrect it! (lol) Is Charlie hiding himself today?

Have a ball at your ball!

Morning Naomi :-) Lovely to see you, honey.
Check charlie's blog - he hid most of the day yesterday.

They woke me up fighting this morning at 4.30 :-(

Minimal preparations - the Crazies are being instructed to bring food :-)

Hope your party plans are coming along well :-)

Enjoying your blog :-) I know how it feels to be overly tired these holiday weeks that have passed. We, however, don't put the tree down till january, on the Feast of the Three Kings, to be exact. So we'll have all the time to worry about cleaning Christmas stuff up...
Anyways, here from Michele's! :-)
