I just happened to take along my camera!
This is the lights taken down the Mall from one end. Our Mall curves in the middle, so there's no chance of taking *all* the lights, and Christmas lights don't photograph well.....
I love these 'waterfall lights' - they're so pretty. They come in two lengths; short (to your right) and long ones that dangle through towards the ground floor (to your left). Last year they were complimented with angels, this year it is big gold stars.
And our magnificent Mall Christmas tree - wonderful design, traditional, yet modern....
See the red at the bottom? That is the fountain the tree is suspended over....playing all through rainbow hues - wonderful.
And tomorrow, I will tell you about the polar bear :-)

you're keeping me in suspense about the polar bear - polar bears are my favorite! So favorite that my husband tried to propose to me at the polar bear exhibit at the zoo... but the line was too long, and he was impatient. Oh well. He chose the river otters instead, and that was good, too.
Come on , c'mon.....
Get to the Polar Bear.... :o)
That is the most BEAUTIFUL Mall display for Christmas that I've ever seen!!! Those waterfall lights are new to me..(maybe because I haven't been to a mall in a few years..DUH!!!...lol)
Truly...this is GORGEOUS!!!! And gives one such a feeling of 'The Holidays'. You did good!
They are absolutely gorgeous, the digital camera doesn't do them justice :-)
I like roaming the Mall when the lights go up :-)

I really love Christmas decorations, and the malls do such a nice job, don't they? Sometimes I wish they could leave the decorations up all year, but then, I suppose they wouldn't be as special, would they?
