2nd option

And this is the second option. I'm thinking this might make the blog easier to read.

I understand these changes can't be seen in Firefox - I don't know why. If anyone can shed any light, please let me know.....

What do you think? scribbles or stars? :-)

Scribbles--it is easier to read, at least for me...The other one though very pretty, I found a bit of a struggle to read with certain words obscurred by the stars...Maybe the font could be bigger and darker in the stars one to be okay...but the way you showed it, it was hard for these Old Eyes...Thanks for asking.

The stars ceriainly obscurred some of the text which made things kinda hard to read....

Easier to read :-)

On the Firefox thing, it kinda makes me glad I still use IE as my main browser. I can't even see the Blogger control bar at the top with Firefox ... (on all the Blogs I read often)

Hmm...I missed the stars one. With regard to viewing it, I use Opera normallly, and it is fine on there. Just checked with Firefox and works fine.

Perhaps it depends on what browser you code on...IE runs bad code, when others won't.

Ah ha !

In Firefox, there is an option in Tools - Options and the Web Features section. The option is "for the originating web site only" and comes under "Load images". If the tick box is checked, we don't get the background or the Blogger tabs.

That is much easier to read ... but I preferred the look of the stars. I know, I'm not much help really and I shall probably get splinters in my bum from sitting on the fence :o)

*changes the subject rapidly* Have a grand Monday!

You can always keep whatever background you want but put a solid color behind the text to keep things easy to read. I think it's done by using tables but don't quote me on that. It's been a long time since I hand coded anything. LOL
