Dreamscape

I had the weirdest dream last night......
I dreamt I had started smoking again and was suffering terrible pangs of guilt that I hadn't turned off the clicker on my blog.
I hasten to add; I haven't - not one cigarette since 10pm on the 15th October.
But why did I have this dream?

It is so hard to analyze dreams....I have always heard that the key to the dream for that person who had it, is the "feeling" of the dream.
I congratulate you my dear...You are doing soooo GREAT with your not-smoking! Six months, Plus...Here's a Big Hug!

I hold the belief that dreams are simply your mind trying to sort out things from the day - kind of like night time filing. As your mind is accessing other parts of your brain to 'make sense' of the days events it can release surpressed feelings that are botering you but things you might have buried in your sub-conscience. It is more likely to be worry about starting to smoke when you have done so well, rather than anything else. After all, everyday you are a non-smoker and still resisting the urge so your mind will register this.
