Nice little meme, which I found on Kenju's blog!
1. My favorite vacation spot - Cornwall, England. I am hanging out for Canada in the near future though!
2. My hobby - at the moment? Blogging! In January? Might be skiing, you never know....
3. My occupation - civil servant [waits for howls of laughter from the Mezzanine]
4. A favorite Christmas present - Frostie the bear, and his little sister Liberty.
5. My current home - Thornbury, Glos
6. My birthplace - Uffculme, Devon [that little blip on the map north of Exeter!
7. My favourite scent - Lily of the Valley - same as my beloved late granny!
The meme is also supposed to include a photo of my favourite meal, which I don't have (no one else makes it except my mum, and it's never around long enough to be photographed! It is Cheese Rice, a plain risotto laden with melted cheese - delicious with panfried swede!

When I was married (in the dim distant past) I decided on LofV for my bouquet.
My mum sniffed a bit and said 'those were your Granny's favourite flowers'
As I barely knew Granny, or even my dad (her son), it warmed my heart - and still does 20yrs down the line....
The marriage is LONG since over, but the love of LofV remains.

Craziequeen, the meme is supposed to be pictures too! Thanks for the link, and welcome toMichele's Meet n' Greet. She sent me, by the way.
Hi Kenju,
Sadly at work they don't approve of us doing the 'picture' thing..so will be editing when I get home....

Hi, here from Micheles. I have a picture of my favorite meal on my bloggie...about 3-4 posts down.
I'll have to give this meme a go on my blog one day.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
Michele sent me.
Good morning! Michele sent me. I love your meme - mind if I borrow? It gives me an excuse to photograph my fave meal (which means cooking it - yeah!)
Have a great weekend!
Feel free!!
Have visited with you, will return :-)
Isn't Michele COOL??

Michele sent me your way, CrazyQueen.
I didn' realize you had my blog linked here, CQ. Thanks! It's very nice to be accepted, to some degree, on both sides of the Atlantic.
I hope you get that trip to Canada, CQ. The East and West coast are quite nice. The middle is a little quiet though. I grew up only about 80 or 90 miles from Montreal so I've been there a number of times.
Hello Craziequeen, here via Michele's! There is a ton of skiing here in Canada, are you planning a ski trip here?
Hi craziequeen. I also like cheesy risotto best with that proper italian risotto rice. Not tried with the swede though!
A new site for me. Will take a look around.
And..
"Hello, Michele sent me".

kitty - HI, visited your blog. First skiing trip ever will be January 2006 in Bavaria, courtesy of the British Army (who are teaching me!), of course, if I like it, I could be persuaded to kill two birds with one stone - ski and see precious godchild!
Rashbre - popped over to see you, cool blog. I have called it 'Cheese Rice' for a lifetime :-) My mum uses paprika, but I stick with salt, ground black pepper and sometimes garlic :-)
Fluke - somehow that makes me feel really old - but thanks for visiting! :-)
Utenzi - happy to visit, was intrigued by your handle :-)
and Cin/Yaeli/Oreo - you hit me at work, but I have linked to your cool sites - oreo, my felines send purrs :-)
My great-grandfather lived in Cornwall. God,it's gorgeous there.
Hello Michele sent me.
Hi CrazieQueen. Michele sent me. Greetings from Wisconsin!
WOW.... It's full of stars................
Wahey! Michele sent me :-)
I've seen you around on Minerva's blog.... and I'm delighted to find another UK blogger on Michele's
It's great to see you like to use plenty of colour in your texts.
See you around :-)
Hey Doris - colour is essential, especially on nasty grey days like today. You'll notice my signature colour is purple - that's 'cos I'm a dragon! :-)
Kitty - getting busy round here, isn't it? [gleeful smile] All down to Michele's match-blogging service :-)
Sarah and Fuzzy - hi there :-) Cornwall is the lushest place in the universe! I am quarter Cornish and VERY proud of it :-)
Karen - right back at you from grey old England :-)

I can hardly see you for the crowd.... (grin)...
