Time to put aside sad reminisces and get back on with the job in hand.
If you haven't yet, drop me a couple of questions into Question Time - I'm looking forward to answering those! I'll let it run for a few more days.
For my feline readers - don't forget to check in with Charlie and Pandora - they have each posted lovely photos!
If you fancy a quick read of some short stories, then pop over to my storystore where I am publishing my works! And if you want to have your story on there - let me know!
I am eagerly awaiting my review from Teh Mighty Blogfather - based on previous reviews and our conversations, this should be a goody! Once my blog is approved, I will be entitled to carry a Teh Blogfather Approved icon :-)
I had a lovely birthday yesterday - indulged myself and did nothing but blog - all day :-) Then last night we went to dinner at Bella Italia and I was treated to Wallace and Gromit and the Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Very funny film - we thought one of the other members of the audience was going to rupture something :-) Very well recommended by this craziequeen!
Tonight it is crazie party night, with fireworks, pressies, children, pressies, pizza, pressies, booze and maybe even a movie or two on cyberkitten's sooper dooper new telly :-)
But in the meantime - laundry beckons.....

Hey, CQ. Baby red oak is a type of leaf lettuce. I thought about that when I posted the menu - that since they didn't specify what it was, some people wouldn't know. I shouldhave just added it, right?
hey kenju - ah....that lettuce delicacy hasn't arrived over here yet - I don't think.
Thanks for clearing that up! :-)

Mrs A said: What happened to the choccy cake? *wail*
I think it was forgotten about what with all the pizza & fireworks......
Mrs A - Sadly alcohol and *very* loud fireworks put cake out of my mind completely until I saw it in cyberkitten's kitchen this morning [yawn]
I'll bring another one for your birthday, Mrs A [comforting look]
Mary - if you look at my links you will see Teh Blogfather. He's a chap here in the UK who is kind of one of the hubs of blogland. He writes funny, funky reviews of blogs. His own blogs are very entertaining. Give him a look. Hippopotomonstrosesquipidelian is also his - and is about writing and stuff.

hi ribbiticus,
My Pumpkin allowed me some time off from the diet in order to enjoy my birthday :-) so choccy cake was welcomed.
